Many modern knitters may be familiar with this fun scarf design available for free to download from Knitty.com and after being inspired by another group member who made it, I thought I'd make one too. I used about 5metres short of 2 entire skeins of Colinette Jitterbug yarn in 'Lagoon'. I used 5mm straight needles. The pattern was easy, fast and much fun. When finished I dampened it and hung it out wide on the line to dry. Cannot wait to wear it! I love it and will certainly make another one in pinks/oranges, just like the one the designer made as seen on knitty website.
The end result makes an almost sheer like fabric. The project took me just under a month from start to finish.
